The solution theorized says something about the way the problem was envisaged.<br /><br />Calvinism puts forth that regeneration is necessary for saving faith given the condition of death it theorizes in TD. That view can see no other solution given the way it sees the problem.<br /><br />Arminianism puts forth that an inspiration is all that is necessary to capacitate saving faith given the condition of disability it theorizes in TD. That view can see no further necessity given the way it sees the problem.<br /><br />It doesn&#39;t matter that either theory describes the condition to overcome similarly. Their different solutions betray a fundamental divergence of opinion in what that description actually means.
